I am finally making good on my resolution to resurrect my old research blog with a fresh start for 2022. I’ve got a new eco-friendly hosting service (thank you GreenGeeks!), a new domain, and a new motivation (I have finished my thesis and am set to graduate with my second Masters at the end of the month!).
Unfortunately, the pandemic put a grinding halt to most of my travels and in-person research at museums, though as things open back up to semi-normal I do hope to get back into regular trips soon. I also still have lots of photos I’ve accumulated but haven’t properly researched from previous trips to sort through, and of course, more and more museums are digitizing their collections online, so there is still plenty of research I can do even when I am stuck at home.
I will probably reblog some of my favorite posts I rescued from the old blog while I get things fully up and running here, but there will be all new content here in short order. I’m also going to curate an Animal Art of the Day post, which will start soon. Stay tuned! 🙂
